PetrickLaw Group LLC is proud to welcome Garret A. Hampton, Esq. to our new office in downtown Irwin, Pennsylvania. Garret brings a strong foundation in client advocacy, civil litigation, family law, and personal injury, along with a deep commitment to public service and access to justice in Westmoreland County and the greater Pittsburgh region.
Garret earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School in 2025, where he developed hands-on experience across multiple practice areas including family law, estate planning, and civil litigation. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Washington & Jefferson College, where he was inducted into the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society.
During law school, Garret served as a Certified Legal Intern with the Central Pennsylvania Law Clinic, representing indigent and elderly clients throughout the Greater Harrisburg area. He conducted client interviews, performed in-depth legal research, and drafted pleadings and legal documents involving divorce, child custody matters, landlord-tenant disputes, and estate planning. His clinic work reflects a strong commitment to practical, client-centered legal representation.
Garret remains actively involved in the Pennsylvania legal community. He serves as a liaison for the Legal Career Transitions Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and has volunteered with community-focused initiatives such as the PBA Custody Clinic, Wills for Heroes, domestic violence legal services, and high school mock trial programs.
Before entering the legal profession, Garret demonstrated leadership as President of the Delta Tau Delta Fraternity at Washington & Jefferson College, working collaboratively with faculty and peers to oversee operations and represent student interests.
